Very impressed so far.

Well packaged for shipping and arrived in good shape despite boxes being obviously poked by a set of forks but seeing these were in foam, the battery was not damaged. Arrived at 43% SOC - good. Arrived well balanced, cells within 0.008v - very good. I charged up to 100% using a bench top power supply and was able to hold top cell at 3.650v until they balanced nicely. Not sure if this step was necessary but I did it and it worked great. Bluetooth app works great! I wasn’t even expecting to get Bluetooth for this price so I’m super happy with that. These seem pretty high quality to me, although I am new to lifepo4. I’ll be putting them into service very soon, time will tell but I think these were a great deal so far.

Very happy with my deco nano . Live on Vancouver Island and have been building my new home over the past year. Working with the local building department can be tricky and trying to say the least , so always important to keep to the regulations of the building code. The Nano deco is mobile home certified, which is a prerequisite when building a new home ! It was also very affordable in comparison to other wood stoves on the market and lastly it fit the scale and look of my home design. I added a fresh air intake another building code requirement. The house has 13 1/2 foot ceilings but the stove heats the place up in no time.

Cabin Depot was very prompt with the shipping. I didn’t want to give a review until a month or so of steady use. It’s been a couple months so far and it works flawlessly. If I was to complain about anything, I’d say it could use a fan. But that would defeat the “off grid” concept which I love. No electricity needed. It’s hardier than it initially appears when first removing from the poor quality box and graphics on the box. Don’t judge it by that. Looks like the energy went into the product, rather than the marketing. The main components are good quality and installation was very easy. It’s heating our 800 sq foot vaulted ceiling living area plus our two bedrooms off that area with no problems — with the assistance of a ceiling fan to distribute. Don’t need the fan, but it just helps taking the heat away from the ceiling and down to the floor. Easy to start and pretty dummy proof if you’re a DIYer. Love it.

Awesome rain barrel for the price nice construction, looks great in the yard. Added a rain chain as to a down spout. With the past dryness we only had one rain event. 45 gallons filled in 3 hours from only a 12ft section of my roof.

Exactly what I wanted to increase battery storage.
I now have 4 server rack batteries and it’s exactly the capacity I wanted.
Worked well as this is the only LL battery paired with my 3 previous Lifepower 4’s.
Everything hooked right up and no issues.

Only thing is pairing 1 of these with life powers is the communication cable is too short to reach.

Dealing with the Cabin Depot was great, price was in point with anything else I could find for EG4 in Canada.
Shipping from NB to BC took over a week….. that’s understandable as it’s a big country. Delivery was delayed a day but that was totally UPS dropping the ball on that.

All in all a good transaction and I am happy

Very well made stove that heats extremely well

The delivery arrived on time and worked very well.
The stove works really well in terms of heat output, but it remains to be seen whether we will ever get the baking compartment hot enough to make a pizza in it.
With moderate heating and a room temperature of 25°C, the oven compartment is just 150°C hot, with a pizza oven temperature of >300°C we will probably have 35°C or more in the house.
All in all, however, we are very satisfied - this stove may be a little oversized for our house. :-)

A most practical powerful stove..

This is my replacement wood stove for the Jotul catalytic Chaleur #12. I cannot praise this amazingly well built stove enough. The burn box is huge, fully lined with refractory bricks that distribute the heat and more importantly prevent the steel from overheating. It loads easily due to its high top clearance, and even sideways despite its longer depth, which is most practical when reloading during burn. It heats my 2 storeys 3 000 SQ house quite well and always has lots of hot ambers the next morning. I love its large locking and vent handles that makes the operation a breeze. The large glass stays relatively clean and easy to clean once per week. The door gaskets are the only ones to change (reduced chances of air leaks) and unchanged in year 3 of service. The creosote accumulation is minimal. It is aestheticly pleasant with its large legs and door, both cast iron. Easy to remove coals with small shovel and brush the remainder through the large hole under the front steel plug over a very large ash pan. Smooth delivery at my house at NC and well wrapped up with wood all all corners of the pallet underneath. I am more than satisfied with its performance heat output and the price was advantageous over the competition. Thus the picture of my hearth.
