Engineered for flexibility, the SUNON3.6 features a massive 4,500W PV input capacity with a high-voltage input range (up to 300Vdc), allowing for longer, more efficient solar string runs. Uniquely, this unit can operate without a battery, powering loads directly from solar and the grid simultaneously—perfect for cabins or backup systems where battery expansion is planned for a later date.

⚠️ System Design Notes

To ensure a professional and safe installation, please review the following requirements:

  • This unit is for 48V battery systems. It will not operate with 12V or 24V banks.
  • For 240V loads (well pumps, dryers, electric stoves), a minimum of two SUNON3.6 units must be installed in parallel and configured for split-phase operation.
  • This inverter is IP20 rated and must be installed in a clean, dry, indoor environment.
  • Native BMS communication is supported for RUiXU, Pylontech, and other major battery brands via RS485/CAN.
