Free Shipping & Canada-Wide Delivery
The Cabin Depot provides off-grid living solutions with shipping available across Canada. Items qualifying for free shipping are clearly marked on individual product pages. Our shipping program serves standard residential and business addresses, though shipping cost limits may apply based on brand and product weight.
Remote or hard-to-access locations (including parts of British Columbia, Newfoundland, and Northern Territories) may incur additional destination surcharges. We will always notify you for approval before processing orders with surcharges.
Shipping Methods for Off-Grid Equipment
- Small Parcel Shipping: Standard orders are shipped via Canada Post, Purolator, FedEx, or UPS. Canada Post is our primary carrier for PO Boxes and shipments to Yukon, NT, and NU.
- LTL Freight Delivery: Heavy items like wood stoves, appliances, batteries, and solar panels are shipped via reputable LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) carriers. Residential liftgate service is included for your convenience.
Curbside Freight Delivery Details
For large LTL freight shipments:
- Appointment Scheduling: Carriers will contact you to schedule a weekday delivery window. Failure to accept delivery within 24-48 hours of terminal arrival may result in storage fees.
- Curbside Service: Delivery is strictly curbside to the edge of your driveway. Transport trucks (up to 53 feet) must have clear access to the delivery site. Moving items into the home or assembly is not included.
Damaged or Missing Items Policy
We take pride in inspecting every order before it leaves our warehouse. If issues arise during transit:
- Cosmetic Issues: Document with photos and note on the receipt. We can often provide replacement parts or touch-up materials.
- Refusing Delivery: For severe damage, clearly write “ORDER REFUSED DUE TO DAMAGE” on the carrier paperwork and contact us immediately for a replacement or refund.
- Missing Parts: All missing items must be documented on the freight bill before the driver departs.

Pricing & Content Disclaimer
While we strive for 100% accuracy, errors in pricing or product descriptions may occur. The Cabin Depot reserves the right to correct errors and cancel orders placed under incorrect conditions. We will promptly contact affected customers to provide a full refund or an alternative solution.
