from 540 reviewsI have been running my Martin 8000 BTU heater for a couple months in my 10ft x 14ft tiny home. The installation instructions were adequate and informative. I am an experienced builder and found the installation process simple and straightforward. It took about 3 hours from opening the box to warming my hands. The thermostat makes for comfortable mornings when the wood stove has burned out. I purchased the double auto change over regulator and find that two 20lb propane tanks last nearly a month during the fall months here in Atlantic Canada. I have a mini wood stove that I use to supplement my heat but could certainly use just this heater alone at least so far. The winter months are coming and so I look forward to testing it against proper night time lows but I’m confident it will do the job.
Works great right out of the box. I set it up as a battery backup for my gas boiler and water recycling pumps.
Next; I will be connecting solar panels to it and have a secured source of power that will make sure I always have heat in these Canadian winters, even if the power goes out. Side note: The boiler unit is Natural Gas, which never fails, but all the boiler control and recycling pumps need power. The 10kw/hour Power Queen batteries provide enough to run the system for a week without recharging.
The Chic choc woodstove surpass my expectations.
I haven't cooked on it yet, however my 160 square feet area is super toasty. I burn couple of logs once a day. It stays warm until the next morning without starting another fire. The temp is 90 F.
We bought a stove through the Cabin depot, unfortunately it arrived damaged.
However Alicia in customer services was fantastic and even though the manufacturer was reluctant to replace the stove the cabin depot ordered me a replacement and arranged the exchange at their own cost. it was a little stressfull initially but I am incredibly pleased and relieved that I had the team and the cabin depot to sort this issue out, big thumbs up. *****
Purchased after a propane fridge failure. Feel much safer with this unit. Works better than the propane ever did. Low energy consumption. Cools quickly. Holds temperature very well
I’m pumped that Cabin Depot came through and had this in stock. I had ordered another similar one specifically for some upcoming trips in my small trailer. 2 of which I absolutely needed to bring my own. Unfortunately, they couldn’t ship it as previously promised and I was left scrambling. This OGO Nomad works great. Has a large capacity liquid container and the clips hold the bag nice and secure. I’m glad they included some coconut coir to try out. Will definitely use going forward. Zero smell, except when I moved the trailer and forgot to put the lid on the liquid. Ooooos!! However, it is all very easy to clean and sanitize after use and for storage. Very impressed for the price. Wish it was slightly taller but for the price it is exactly what I need for my set-up.
We cook a lot and need a powerful fan. I bought this because it matched my even we were surprised at how powerful it was. Excellent product!
Modified install to use indoors with a B vent- is working amazing with available water pressure from our off grid water system
We had a wobbly, half broken, 30 year old stove that leaked. This is 1000 times better! I love how deep it is. It’s just enough that it doesn’t feel like a 24” range and my pans all fit at the same time with its full size cast iron grid. It’s super good quality and it works great. I love the black interior and the finishing touches. So far I’m super excited about it, and by the other reviews I have read, it will continue to exceed my expectations.
Worked well for me
Great fireplace/heater for a smaller space. Works well and seems very well made! Price is very competitive and affordable!
Very happy with all the products bought at cabin depot
It is good quality liner at great price
Truly appreciate
I really enjoy the sound, light and warmth my lamps give to my cabin. They worked in -40C when all my batteries and generator were frozen, thank goodness for the wood stove! They give off a surprising amount of heat which is nice in the evening and first thing in the morning. BUY AN EXTRA GLOBE!
I build an outhouse/ storage shed and installed the Biolan ECO toilet the way that l was able to open a small door on bottom of the back wall. That way it was very easy to open the toilets emptying it with shovel of the opening that is about 1x1 foot in size right down the bottom. The Biolan ECO toilet is made of very heavy dyty vinyl/ plastic with douple walls that has insulation between. The seat is made of heavy duty foam that is warm to sit on even in the winter and it is airtight. In the top of the unit it has a air vent that can be adjusted
and 2" diameter air pipe that goes up above the roof. I didn't use any urine diverter, l thought that the urine moisture is good for the compost, and it was. (As a man l urinated outside fertilizing the trees 😃. ) The extra urine flows out of the 1" opening in the bottom of the toilet container. After the💩 poo, we covered the stuff with a scoop of mulch and a spoonful of compost speeder. When you open the insulated airtight seat/lid you can feel the no smell heat. No electric fan is needed. We didn't use it in the winter although it can be used all yer around. In the spring l emptied it easily out of the bottom small door opening with shovel. The stuff was like a black soil, no smell, ready for the garden. We didn't put toilet paper in there but collected it separately for later on burning. In the winter we used a smaller Biolan indoor toilet inside the cottage that was working very well too. ( Finland y. 2019). Thank you Biolan.
