This is my replacement wood stove for the Jotul catalytic Chaleur #12. I cannot praise this amazingly well built stove enough. The burn box is huge, fully lined with refractory bricks that distribute the heat and more importantly prevent the steel from overheating. It loads easily due to its high top clearance, and even sideways despite its longer depth, which is most practical when reloading during burn. It heats my 2 storeys 3 000 SQ house quite well and always has lots of hot ambers the next morning. I love its large locking and vent handles that makes the operation a breeze. The large glass stays relatively clean and easy to clean once per week. The door gaskets are the only ones to change (reduced chances of air leaks) and unchanged in year 3 of service. The creosote accumulation is minimal. It is aestheticly pleasant with its large legs and door, both cast iron. Easy to remove coals with small shovel and brush the remainder through the large hole under the front steel plug over a very large ash pan. Smooth delivery at my house at NC and well wrapped up with wood all all corners of the pallet underneath. I am more than satisfied with its performance heat output and the price was advantageous over the competition. Thus the picture of my hearth.

I have been running my Martin 8000 BTU heater for a couple months in my 10ft x 14ft tiny home. The installation instructions were adequate and informative. I am an experienced builder and found the installation process simple and straightforward. It took about 3 hours from opening the box to warming my hands. The thermostat makes for comfortable mornings when the wood stove has burned out. I purchased the double auto change over regulator and find that two 20lb propane tanks last nearly a month during the fall months here in Atlantic Canada. I have a mini wood stove that I use to supplement my heat but could certainly use just this heater alone at least so far. The winter months are coming and so I look forward to testing it against proper night time lows but I’m confident it will do the job.

Works great right out of the box. I set it up as a battery backup for my gas boiler and water recycling pumps.
Next; I will be connecting solar panels to it and have a secured source of power that will make sure I always have heat in these Canadian winters, even if the power goes out. Side note: The boiler unit is Natural Gas, which never fails, but all the boiler control and recycling pumps need power. The 10kw/hour Power Queen batteries provide enough to run the system for a week without recharging.

The Chic choc woodstove surpass my expectations.
I haven't cooked on it yet, however my 160 square feet area is super toasty. I burn couple of logs once a day. It stays warm until the next morning without starting another fire. The temp is 90 F.

We bought a stove through the Cabin depot, unfortunately it arrived damaged.
However Alicia in customer services was fantastic and even though the manufacturer was reluctant to replace the stove the cabin depot ordered me a replacement and arranged the exchange at their own cost. it was a little stressfull initially but I am incredibly pleased and relieved that I had the team and the cabin depot to sort this issue out, big thumbs up. *****

Acheté après une panne de réfrigérateur au propane. Je me sens beaucoup plus en sécurité avec cet appareil. Fonctionne mieux que le propane. Faible consommation d'énergie. Refroidit rapidement. Maintient très bien la température

Je suis ravi que Cabin Depot ait eu ce produit en stock. J'en avais commandé un autre similaire spécifiquement pour quelques voyages à venir dans ma petite caravane. 2 d'entre eux pour lesquels j'avais absolument besoin d'apporter le mien. Malheureusement, ils n'ont pas pu l'expédier comme promis et j'ai dû me débrouiller. Cet OGO Nomad fonctionne très bien. Il contient un réservoir de liquide de grande capacité et les clips maintiennent le sac bien en place. Je suis content qu'ils aient inclus un peu de coco pour essayer. Je l'utiliserai certainement à l'avenir. Il n'y a pas d'odeur, sauf quand j'ai déménagé la remorque et que j'ai oublié de mettre le couvercle sur le liquide. Ooooos ! Cependant, tout est très facile à nettoyer et à désinfecter après utilisation et pour le stockage. Très impressionné pour le prix. J'aurais aimé qu'il soit un peu plus grand, mais pour le prix, c'est exactement ce dont j'ai besoin pour mon installation.

Nous cuisinons beaucoup et avons besoin d'un ventilateur puissant. J'ai acheté ce ventilateur parce qu'il correspondait à ma cuisine et nous avons été surpris par sa puissance. Excellent produit !

Installation modifiée pour utilisation à l'intérieur avec un évent B - fonctionne à merveille avec la pression d'eau disponible de notre système d'eau hors réseau.

Nous avions un poêle bancal, à moitié cassé, vieux de 30 ans et qui fuyait. Celle-ci est 1000 fois meilleure ! J'adore sa profondeur. Elle est juste assez profonde pour ne pas donner l'impression d'être une cuisinière de 24 pouces et mes casseroles tiennent toutes en même temps grâce à sa grille en fonte de taille normale. Elle est de très bonne qualité et fonctionne très bien. J'adore l'intérieur noir et les finitions. Jusqu'à présent, je suis très enthousiaste et, d'après les autres commentaires que j'ai lus, elle continuera à dépasser mes attentes.

Très bonne cheminée/chauffage pour un petit espace. Fonctionne bien et semble très bien fait ! Le prix est très compétitif et abordable !
