This is a replacement unit for me I am at fault for not properly draining my first unit and it froze at my camp last winter splitting the coil “the only no replaceable part”!
However we love the unit so much it was no question of replacing it with the same unit!
We use it at our off grid hunting camp in Northern Ontario using collected rain barrels to feed it and it’s perfect! Hot! Water fast every time!
You won’t regret it just don’t forget to drain properly for winter storage!

This kit gives the heat pump, tubing and wiring a professional and completed look. The line guard kit protects the wiring, refrigerant tubing from weather & U V damage. You can get by without it. But, I prefer having it & would order it again.

My previous 120v setup used a 24v lead acid battery bank and I wanted to upgrade my inverter to 120/240v output with 48v Lithium batteries. The EG4 is amazing. On board breakers, proper panel knockouts and UL Listed. Love the dual PV MPPT inputs that harvest way more than other inverters I've tried (and blew up). Fantastic monitor app and remote access with analytics. Worth the money!

Package came in damaged in transit but thankfully the inner packaging stood up to the carrier abuse. Unpacked, charged, updated software and works as it should. Messed up with getting the generator cable along with the Solix. Worth looking at the output panel of the generator itself to make sure it has 240V out.
Since I installed it in my yard, I have not had a shower inside our home.
We live in the woods with no neighbours around, so an outside heated shower is fantastic.
It looks well built and operates on 24 VDC as expected. We just started using it, so it’s too early to comment on reliability.

FYI, we are on well water, and I buried 3/4" poly 75' to outdoor shower, where I then converted to 1/2" pex. So far, I have not had to really dial UP the gas for heat. Consistent and 104 degrees!
We wanted to make sure, that having such a long run from the spigot, plus cold well water and being able to you into cooler months, we went with the 10L. So happy we did. We did not use the supplied shower, I tired it to see if there was a big difference in thru put from my mounted shower and there as not.
Still need to finish landscaping around it
