The Imperial gasket kit includes 3/8" x 78" replacement fibreglass rope designed to prevent air leakage around doors and improve the efficiency of your wood stove. Sold as a kit, it includes a 59 ml bottle of adhesive so that the rope gasket is securely held in place.
- Kit includes white 3/8-in (W) x 6-ft (L) gasket rope and 59 ml (2 fluid ounce) bottle of gasket adhesive
- For use with stoves, fireplaces, furnaces
- Withstands temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C)
- Prevents air leaks and improves efficiency

Instructions
Remove all old gasket and adhesive. Apply a 1/8” bead of silicone sealant in the channel around the door. Press gasket firmly into channel. Wipe up any drips or spills with a wet cloth. Close door and let stand for 12 hours then fire appliance with a low fire and slowly increase heat to permanently cure the adhesive.
