Imperial 5/8" Fiberglass Gasket Kit - Black

The Imperial gasket kit includes 5/8" x 78" replacement fibreglass rope designed to prevent air leakage around doors and improve the efficiency of your wood stove. Sold as a kit, it includes a 59 ml bottle of adhesive so that the rope gasket is securely held in place.

• For use with stoves, fireplaces, furnaces
• Withstands temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C)

Instructions

Remove all old gasket and adhesive. Apply a 1/8” bead of silicone sealant in the channel around the door. Press gasket firmly into channel. Wipe up any drips or spills with a wet cloth. Close door and let stand for 12 hours then fire appliance with a low fire and slowly increase heat to permanently cure the adhesive.
