J.A. ROBY Cocinera Wood Cookstove

Traditional High-Back Cookstove with Upper Warming Oven — Model COCINERA

Bring the comforting warmth and dependable cooking power of a traditional country hearth into your home. Handcrafted in Quebec, the official J.A. ROBY Cocinera pairs old-world cooking charm with modern, high-efficiency clean burn engineering. Designed with both a glass-door baking oven and a classic high-back warming closet, it lets you roast hearty family dinners, warm fresh bread, and simmer soups at the exact same time. With a generous firebox that burns wood all night long and whole-home heating output, it keeps your cabin warm and your family well-fed—even during the deepest winter power outages.

• Classic High-Back Warming Oven: Features an elevated upper warming closet that captures rising convective warmth to keep breads, side dishes, and plates piping hot without scorching while you cook below.
• Bake & Roast Off-Grid: Equipped with an eye-level glass baking oven and a door thermometer, plus a heavy cast iron stovetop with removable burner plates for boiling water fast or gentle simmering.
• Holds Heat All Night Long: The extra-large 3.01 cubic foot firebox easily accepts standard 16-inch firewood and burns for up to 14 hours on a single load so you wake up to glowing coals and a warm house.
• Clean-Burning & Firewood-Saving: EPA 2020 certified with an ultra-clean burn rate of 1.56 g/h, squeezing maximum usable heat out of every cord of wood with very little smoke or chimney creosote buildup.
• Heavy-Duty Canadian Plate Steel: Built in Quebec with thick plate steel and lined with heavy refractory brick to soak up intense heat and radiate gentle warmth across spaces up to 3,000 sq. ft.
