J.A. ROBY Kocher Wood Cookstove

Grand Wide-Format Cookstove with Side Shelf & Warming Oven — Model KOCHER

Turn your kitchen into a self-sufficient culinary center that keeps your whole home cozy. Handcrafted in Quebec, the official J.A. ROBY Kocher takes everything home bakers love about traditional wood cookstoves and expands it onto a grand 57 ⅞" wide chassis. Built with an eye-level glass baking oven, a classic upper warming closet, and an extra-wide cooktop with an integrated side preparation counter, it gives you the generous workspace you need to roast, bake, simmer, and prep big family meals. With a deep firebox that holds heat all night long, it keeps your cabin warm and comfortable through the coldest Canadian winters—no electricity needed.

• Expansive 58" Wide Counter Workspace: Extended side chassis provides valuable countertop room right beside the stove for staging baking sheets, resting hot pots, or carving roasts.
• Classic High-Back Warming Oven: Elevated upper warming closet uses rising convective warmth to keep dinner rolls, side dishes, and plates piping hot without overcooking or scorching while you cook below.
• Bake & Roast Completely Off-Grid: Features an eye-level glass baking oven with an accurate door thermometer, plus a heavy polished cast iron stovetop with removable burner rings for rapid boiling or slow simmering.
• Holds Heat All Night Long: The extra-large 3.01 cubic foot firebox easily takes standard 16-inch firewood and burns for up to 14 hours on a single load so you wake up to a warm house and glowing coals.
• Clean-Burning & Firewood-Saving: EPA 2020 certified with an ultra-clean burn rate of 1.56 g/h, squeezing maximum usable heat out of every log with minimal smoke or chimney creosote.
• Heavy Canadian Plate Steel & Brick: Hand-built in Quebec with thick plate steel and lined with high-density refractory bricks to soak up intense firebox heat and gently radiate whole-home warmth up to 3,000 sq. ft.
