Hi people,
I think purchasing the
SRNE (ML2440) 40 Amp MPPT Charge Controller was a good choice as it has been in use for a few weeks and is doing a good job. I charge with 300 watts of 18v PV and have two deep cycle 12v batteries. When the output voltage got run down the automatic shutoff feature worked well and I spent a little time figuring out how to reset it once the batteries recharged. So far so good!

Works as advertised. Not CSA, so knockouts don't take standard connectors. Overall good value for the price for a small PV system.
