Rolls 6V 260 AGM Deep Cycle Battery
Maintenance-Free Sealed Energy Storage — Model S6-260AGM-RE
Built by Surrette Battery Company in Springhill, Nova Scotia—Canada’s only remaining independent battery manufacturer—the Rolls S6-260AGM-RE is an industrial-grade, sealed deep cycle battery engineered for off-grid cabins, marine house banks, RVs, and renewable energy storage systems.
Utilizing high-purity lead plates and advanced Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) VRLA technology, this heavy-duty 6V battery requires zero maintenance or watering, will not leak or emit corrosive fumes under normal float conditions, and provides exceptional charge acceptance with an ultra-low internal resistance of just 1.3 mΩ.
- 12V Bank: (2) Batteries in Series
- 24V Bank: (4) Batteries in Series
- 48V Bank: (8) Batteries in Series
- High-Capacity Deep Cycle Reserve: Delivers 234Ah at the 20-hour rate (260Ah at C100) to reliably run off-grid refrigeration, lighting, water pressure pumps, and AC household inverters.
- 100% Maintenance-Free Sealed VRLA: Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) construction completely eliminates liquid electrolyte checks, cell watering, and terminal acid corrosion.
- Safe for Living Quarters & Hulls: Non-spillable and leak-proof design allows safe installation in cabin utility closets, crawlspaces, mobile RV compartments, and sailboat bilge areas.
- Versatile 6V Building Block: Ideal for building high-amp-hour 12V (2 units), 24V (4 units), or 48V (8 units) banks with fewer parallel strings and balanced cell cycling.
- Dual Terminal Versatility: Equipped with M8 threaded brass insert terminals and includes TP08 automotive post adapters and stainless steel mounting hardware.
- Ultra-Low Self-Discharge & Fast Recharge: Retains capacity with less than 2% self-discharge per month at 25°C, while low internal resistance supports efficient generator and solar charging.
- Canadian Craftsmanship: Handcrafted in Springhill, Nova Scotia by Surrette Battery Company, manufacturing world-renowned deep cycle batteries since 1935.
