The Separett Tiny 1271 has set the standard for environmentally friendly compact toilets higher than ever. In terms of compact design, comfort and use, its small design is the equal of a modern washroom in every way. The Tiny has been specifically designed for small spaces such as bunkies, tiny houses, RVs, and small cabins.
Liquids and solids are separated in the bowl so that each can be disposed of individually. Solids from the toilet’s rear 14.5 litre container can be composted or incinerated. The urine is drained out the back of the toilet to an outside leach bed, greywater tank or Ejektortank. The Tiny can also be converted to use an internal portable 7.1 litre urine tank, that is easily removed for use as fertilizer or disposed of in any number of ways. The built-in fan expels odours and condensation from the toilet and bathroom quietly and effectively. The vent duct can be run behind the toilet straight through an outer wall or run up through the roof. The Separett Tiny 1271 is supplied complete for basic installation, including a vent pipe (Ø50 mm) to go through a wall and a 2-metre long (Ø32 mm) urine waste hose.
For locations that do not have access to a 110-120V power supply, no problem, the Tiny 1271 includes both a 110-120V adaptor and a 12V power cable with alligator clips to connect directly to a 12V battery. The fan (1.6W, 210mA) is perfect for battery and solar power. Operating time using a 12V, 100Ah battery is about 3-4 weeks. The Tiny 1271 can also be vented using a wind turbine vent for those totally off the grid with no power at all.
The Separett Tiny 1271 can be installed in both warm and unheated locations and will work perfectly well irrespective of the room temperature.

After some research, I decided to purchase the Separett Tiny for installation in our sailboat. The order was easily placed through the Cabin Depot website, shipping was included, and the product was delivered on time. All in all a good experience so far. Installation was not so easy, but that is what you get with a sail boat, not a fault with the Separett. it seems to be a quality product, well thought out and well made. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is the shipment had only one absorb pad (not as indicated in materials list), and only one drain cleaner disc, again not as indicated. Since the package did not seem to have been tampered with, I assume there was a shortage of these items at time of shipment? As a note, the marine application could be a market for future growth for Separett? The small design & simplicity lends itself well to installation on small water craft. Regards from British Columbia

Hello
First - we love the toilet. It works perfectly.
My only complaint is the there basically are no usable instalation instructions with it. The instaruction are on the level of "vent the pipe outside, plug it in and so on.
I spent two hours trying to find out where to plug in the ac cord at the toilet end. Embarassing, but true story. I had to call you folks and you were extreammly helpfull by taking and sending me a couple of pictures of your floor unit.
I was up the lake looking a neighbours unit when my wife text saying she had it!!
Besides those couple of things, once it was installed and running it's beed great.
