The Victron BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor will provide accurate real-time battery SOC (State Of Charge) information for up to 2 different battery banks via the included LED display, or Bluetooth connection to your smartphone. It also has 2-wire automatic generator start/stop capability.
Basic battery SOC monitors use voltage alone to estimate your battery bank SOC. The problem with these basic systems is that if you have any load connected or charge voltage applied, they will either under or over estimate your true battery bank SOC. Advanced battery monitoring systems like the Victron BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor use a shunt, which can then measure the actual Amps In & out of your battery bank, providing a real-time & accurate measurement of the amount of energy left remaining in your battery bank.

Recently added a EG4 LL battery to my existing system.
Cabin Depot was great to deal with, shipping was around a week., which is pretty good considering it was shipped across Canada.
Only delayed by 1 day but that was a UPS thing.
This battery was added to 3 existing EG4 Lifepower batteries.
Everything worked no issues at all., only thing was the communication ports are in different locations and the supplied cables are too short to reach,
No big deal.
All in all very happy and would order again
