Rolls 4V 1,404Ah Flooded Deep Cycle Battery
Heavy-Duty Dual-Container Cell — Model 4 KS 25P (Series 5000)
Built by Surrette Battery Company in Springhill, Nova Scotia—Canada’s only remaining independent battery manufacturer—the Rolls 4 KS 25P is an industrial-grade, 4-volt flooded deep cycle battery designed for demanding renewable energy systems, rural homesteads, and off-grid power installations.
Belonging to Rolls' flagship Series 5000 line, this heavy-duty dual-container cell features high-density antimony lead plates and generous liquid electrolyte reserves. Because each 4V unit contains two individual 2V cells in series, you need half as many physical battery blocks to assemble high-capacity 12V (3 units), 24V (6 units), or 48V (12 units) power banks.
- 1,404Ah High Energy Reserve: Delivers deep, reliable energy storage (1,404Ah at C20; 1,811Ah at C100) providing multi-day autonomy for remote cabins, microgrids, and off-grid residences.
- Streamlined 4V Bank Architecture: With 4 volts per battery, bank assembly requires fewer interconnects and fewer individual units (just 3 for 12V, 6 for 24V, or 12 for 48V).
- Rugged Dual-Container Construction: Individual cells are housed in protective polypropylene inner tanks inside an impact-resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) outer casing to eliminate acid leakage risk.
- Industrial Thick-Plate Design: Features 25 heavy antimony lead plates per cell paired with Rolls' Advanced NAM carbon additive for accelerated recharging and superior cycle longevity.
- Canadian Craftsmanship: Handcrafted in Springhill, Nova Scotia by Surrette Battery Company, building world-class deep cycle batteries since 1935.
- 5-Year Full Replacement Warranty: Backed by one of the strongest direct manufacturer warranties in the renewable energy storage industry.
